- Cat5e cableWe supply low costs of solid conductor Category 5e network data cable-Cat5e solid cable, which is an independently verified 4 pair UTP cable which conforms to the enhanced performance Category 5 specification. This Cat5e network data cable is supplied in strong 305mtr boxes. Cable is marked along it's length for ease of installation There are three levels for Cat5e cables. General Cat5e cable- UL1581; Riser Cat5e cable- UL1666; and Plenum Cat5e cable UL910. These numbers are all fire and safety rated.Cat 5e cable is an enhanced version of Cat 5 that adds specifications for far end crosstalk. It was formally defined in 2001 as the TIA/EIA-568-B standard, which no longer recognizes the original Cat 5 specification. Although 1000BASE-T ("GigE") was designed for use with Cat 5 cable, the tighter specifications associated with Cat 5e cable and connectors make it an excellent choice for use with 1000BASE-T. Despite the stricter performance specifications, Cat 5e cable does not enable longer cable distances for Ethernet networks: cables are still limited to a maximum of 100 m (328 ft) in length (normal practice is to limit fixed ("horizontal") cables to 90 m to allow for up to 5 m of patch cable at each end, this comes to a total of the previous mentioned 100 m maximum). Cat 5e cable performance characteristics and test methods are defined in TIA/EIA-568-B.2-2001.Normally CAT-5e cable is not rated for outdoor use, however it can generally be used without a problem. If possible, run the Cat5e cable through some kind of conduit to prevent moisture or an attractive site for lightning to strike. You should be able to find gray PVC conduit suitable for Cat5e cable at any hardware store. Remember, 100 Meters is your max distance, without some kind of hub, bridge or amplification.Cat5e cable works with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs. UTP Cat5e solid cable stands for Unshielded Twisted Pair Cat5e cable. It is a cable type with pairs of twisted insulated copper conductors contained in a single sheath. UTP Cat5e cables are the most common type of cabling used in desktop communications applications. Solid Cable has one larger gauge wire in each sleeve. Solid cable has better electrical performance than stranded cable and is traditionally used for inside walls and through ceilings - any type of longer run of cableCat5e stranded cable has 7 small gauge wires in each separate insulation sleeve. Cat5e stranded cable is more flexible, making it more suitable for shorter distances, such as Cat5e patch cords, Cat5e patch cables.
Cat5e Patch Cables are made of stranded copper conductors for flexibility. This construction is great for the flexing and the frequent changes that occur at the wall outlet or Cat5e patch panel. The stranded conductors do not transmit data signals as far as solid cable. The TIA/EIA 568A which is the governing standard regarding commercial cabling systems limits the length of patch cables to 10 meters in total length normally, that is why we didn't recommend patch cables over 30 feet in length.Features:

Primarily available in 3 different types, each Cat6 cable type has specific pros and cons in addition to specific applications. Solid ( most commonly used) is comprised of a PVC jacket and solid core conductors. Solid core conductors allow the Cat6 cable to run long distances while maintaining performance, but reducing its flexibility and the number of times it can be flexed before breaking. This makes solid Cat6 cable perfect for permanent installation applications (your long runs from the patch panel to wall plate) where the cable will not move much once installed. Stranded Cat6 cable is comprised of a PVC jacket and stranded core conductors making it very flexible. This flexibility allows it to be flexed many times with no negative effects on performance making it perfect for building patch cables. Plenum also has solid core conductors, but is built with a Low Smoke, fire retardant jacket that make it safe for use in Plenum Air Spaces (check your local building codes to see if it is required) but drastically increases the cost.Cat6 cable is an Ethernet cable standard defined by the Electronic Industries Association and Telecommunications Industry Association (commonly known as EIA/TIA). CAT6 cable is the sixth generation of twisted pair Ethernet cabling.Cat6 cable contains four pairs of copper wire like the previous generation Cat5e cable. Unlike Cat5e cable, however, Cat6 cable fully utilizes all four pairs. Cat6 cable supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) and supports communications at more than twice the speed of Cat5e cable, the other popular standard for Gigabit Ethernet cabling. An enhanced version of CAT6 called Cat6a cable supports up to 10 Gbps speeds.As with all other types of twisted pair EIA/TIA cabling, individual Cat6 cable runs are limited to a maximum recommended length of 100m (328 feet). Printing along the length of the cable sheath identifies it as Cat6 cable.Compared with Cat5 cable and Cat5e cable, Cat6 cable features more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise. The cable standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX(Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-TX/ 1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet). Cat6 cable has a reduced maximum length when used for 10GBASE-T; Cat6a cable, is characterized to 500MHz and has improved alien crosstalk characteristics, allowing 10GBASE-T to be run for the same distance as previous protocols. Cat6 cable can be identified by the printing on the side of the cable sheath.Features:
* 305 to 0 metre marking helps to reduce waste
* 305 metre easy-pull packaging
* 23AWG conductor
* Lifetime product warranty
